Continuing License requires 90 clock hours of professional development per 5-year cycle. A "clock-hour" means actual time spent in PD (not credit hours). At least 45 of the 90 hours must be in activities relating to the educator's work with students or staff. Conversions: 1 CEU = 10 clock hours (for college/university course credit). Educators should contact DOE when 90 hours accumulated to begin renewal.
