Washington Teacher PD Requirements (2026)

100 hours every 5 years for teachers

Source

Primary source: Washington OSPI Educator Certification. The 15-hour CCDEI-aligned Equity sub-requirement is a noteworthy mandate within the 100-hour total. The PGP alternative pathway lets teachers satisfy renewal via plan-based work rather than hour-counting. Uniform expiration date is June 30; on-time deadline January 1 of expiration year (late fee after).
